Leafs also ranked 6th in NHL power ranks 3 behind Habs but ahead of Bruins. I guess we have to hope we play the Bruins??????

Kessel and Kadri are both point per game players.

Whens the last time the leafs have had TWO point per game players who played on different lines for the whole season?

Indications are will be Reimer vs Brodeur tonight. That likely means Scrivens starts tomorrow. Nothing certain on Leafs end though.

Kadri has yet to prove that he is. You can't go just by this years numbers. Also his Corsi numbers indicate that he won't be able to sustain that pace. His Corsi numbers are similar to that of Eberle last year. Check out Eberle's numbers this year?

I hope they let him sit longer unless he's 100% ready to go.

This game isn't a must win for the leafs by any means, and it's not worth risking Lupul's health going forward to squeeze him in.

roommates lol apparently kessel broke up with his girlfriend and since it was a shortened season he asked bozak to move in and he said yea. he says it in the vid on tsn about kessel being hard on himself

That's fine. I always expect regression in a players 2nd full season once teams learn what to expect from them.

But from watching Kadri this year, I'm seeing all of the things that made me like watching him on the London Knights, and barely any of the things that used to bug me about watching him on the London Knights -- mainly, those lazy dekes in the neutral zone that lead to bad turnovers, and trying to stay out for a 2 minute shift.

Well im sure if they gave it their all, and gave 110% without backing down and taking things one game at a time and remember there is no I in team because defense wins championships.
